Amreli Rajmahal was built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III during 1892 for his residence. The palace has 2 storey with magnificent windows.
In early days it was used to organize ‘Lok Durbar’, when Amreli was part of Baroda State. The palace building in later years was also used as government offices.
A bronze statue of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III stands tall in front of the palace.

Unfortunately this majestic palace is not in a very good condition now, and is in need of immediate attention.
